Frequently Asked Questions

Is it safe to travel to Iraq?

Your safety is our highest priority. We operate in federal Iraq, primarily in areas that are considered safe for tourism and international visitors. All tours are planned in coordination with local authorities, and we conduct ongoing risk assessments to ensure up-to-date safety measures are in place. While no travel is without risk, we take every possible precaution to provide a secure and enriching experience.

Do I need a visa to enter Iraq?

Yes, most travelers will require a visa to enter Iraq. Visa policies vary depending on your nationality. We’ll assist you in understanding the latest requirements and, in many cases, help facilitate the visa process.

Can I customize my itinerary?

Yes! We offer custom tour creation for individuals, families, churches, or organizations. Whether you're interested in archaeology, biblical teaching, photography, or in-depth study of specific locations, we’re happy to tailor the experience to your needs and preferences.

What should I wear while on tour?

Modesty and comfort are key. We recommend lightweight, breathable clothing that covers shoulders and knees, especially when visiting rural or religious areas. A hat and good walking shoes are also essential. We'll send you a detailed packing guide once you register.

Is Iraq suitable for family travel?

Absolutely. Many of our guests are families or small church groups. While younger children may find some travel days long, we can adapt your itinerary for a family-friendly pace and comfort.

What languages are tours conducted in?

Our tours are primarily conducted in English and Arabic but we also offer guides fluent in other languages upon request.

Do I need to be religious to enjoy this tour?

Not at all. While our tours are designed with a biblical focus, they are open to anyone interested in history, archaeology, and culture. Many guests are deeply moved by the connection between the ancient sites and the biblical stories they’ve heard, while others simply appreciate the opportunity to explore one of the world’s oldest civilizations.

When is the best time to visit Iraq?

The best months for travel are September through April, when temperatures are mild and comfortable. Summer months (especially June to August) can be extremely hot so if you're okay with some heat we'll still be glad to accommodate any way we can.

How do I book a tour or learn more?
